We visited Seoul, South Korea last December 4 – 10, 2018. It was already Winter Season during that time. I shared in previous blogs the things you need to prepare for Winter vacation. Now I wanted to share our itinerary of our whole trip.
Day 1 – Manila to Incheon via Cebu Pacific – we booked our flight during piso sale and we scored a great deal. Our one way airfare only costs 899 per head.
We arrived late night and the buses and trains are not operating anymore so we decided to ride a taxi sharing with other passengers, it costs us 120,000 won which is 5,215 pesos or 1, 303 per head. Very expensive 😦
We stayed at K-Grand Hostel in Dongdaemun and it cost us 14,557 (3,639 per head) pesos for our stay for 7 days and 6 nights, 2 adults and 2 kids with free breakfast which are soup, eggs, toast and coffee.
Day 2 – Seoul City Tour – We purchased a Discover Seoul Pass 48 hours via Klook on a Buy 1 Take 1 promo which only costs us 1,933 pesos for 2 passes or 966.50 per head. This pass will allow you to visit 42 Seoul attractions for FREE.
Here are the places we visited on the first day:
Deoksugung Palace, Grevin Museum, HanbokNam – Hanbok experience, Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Day 3: Seoul City Tour – we continue using our Discover Seoul Pass to visit the following places:
Ride the Seoul City Bus Tour, Legend of the Blue Sea (Lee Min Ho’s) house, Namsan Park, Namsan Tower, Hanbok experience in Namsan, COEX Aquarium, Starfield Library, Goblin Shooting Location Olive Chicken in Gangnam and Sealala.
Day 4: Petite France and Nami Island Tour. At night we visited Dongdaemun Design Plaza. We bought our tour tickets via Klook on a Buy 1 Take 1 Promo. It cost us 1,902 pesos for 2 persons or 951 pesos per head.
Day 5: Han River and Everland. Once again we booked our Everland Tickets via Klook with 50% discount code. The original price is 1390 pesos per ticket but we were able to buy it at 695 per head.
Day 6: Vivaldi Ski Resort. We also bought out tickets from Klook Winter Sale which is 50% off the original price. We booked the Ski experience including the transportation, ski clothes and gear and basic tutorial on how to ski, the original price of this activity is 5,158 but we only paid 2,579 pesos per head.
Day 7: Incheon to Manila. Our flight from Incheon to Manila is quite expensive since we booked this less than a month before our travel. We fly thru AirAsia which costs us 6,800 per head.
Our total expenses is 17, 832 pesos per head, that do not include the Travel Tax in Manila, Daily Transportation via Subway, Food and Shopping.
