Our hotel is Tamu Hotel and Suites, I only saw its ad in Facebook that it is a newly opened hotel with great view of Petronas Tower and KL Tower so we booked it thru Traveloka which only cost us 8,008.68 pesos/631.38 RM for our 4days and 3nights stay.
It is located at 120 Jalan Raja Abdullah, Kampung Baru, Medan Tuanku, and Kuala Lumpur. The nearest train station is about 10 minute walk which is Kampung Baru MRT.
The front desk is very friendly and speaks English fluently so we do not have a hard time checking in. They require all guests to pay the security deposit of 200 RM and the tourism tax of 10 RM per night. Our room includes 2 free breakfast for adults and for the kids we need to pay 24.5 RM each per day.
We booked a Standard room with Twin Beds which is spacious enough for the 4 of us. The bathroom is clean and has the needed toiletries and shower area. The room has small refrigerator, safe and closet.
The breakfast buffet is serve at Suasana Restaurant at the 27th floor. The breakfast in this hotel is great, they have wide choices of food although they do not have plain rice or white rice. You can make your own Noodles and Waffles too. The view at the restaurant is magnificent overlooking KL Tower and Petronas Tower while savoring our first meal of the day.
They also have a great view at the pool side. They have an infinity pool at Level 14 of the hotel. We had a great dip in a cold water and great photos too. The pool area is clean and they also provide pool towels but you cannot take them on your room. There are also comfort rooms within the pool area where you can take your shower and change clothes. You can order food and eat at the pool side as well.
I highly recommended this hotel aside from the facilities and comfort it provided to our stay the staffs are honest and trustworthy as well. My youngest son accidentally left his iPhone 6s at the lobby on our first day, we called the reception to check and they got it. We were able to retrieve the phone when we get back in the hotel.
They also packed our breakfast on our last day in the hotel since we left early and the breakfast buffet is not open yet.
What I can suggest is that they provide a shuttle to the nearest train station since the walk is quite a hassle for us especially when you are travelling with kids.
